Americans' Halloween Candy Preferences By State. Instacart has found America’s candy preferences and broken them down by each state. The state-by-state breakdown found that Peanut M&M’s are favored by people in the West, and People in the Eastern part of the U.S prefer Reese’s. The only two states that differed from the data were Hawaii and New Hampshire, which preferred regular M&M’s. The U.S is also divided in the preference for Red Vines verse Twizzlers. People from the East prefer Twizzlers, and people from the West prefer Red Vines. What is your favorite candy?
