A new law in North Tonawanda, N.Y. could make it to where if your child is caught bullying, you as the parent could be find or even end up in jail.
The North Tonawanda Common Council passed the law unanimously last week, according to the station, which threatens parents with up to 15 days of jail time, a $250 fine or both if their child is found to have bullied or attacked another student.
Honestly we feel this is a fantastic move. Bullying is a huge issue with many kids, and it all starts at home. This New York time is tired of it, and trying to take the issue a step further to curb bullying. Kudos to North Tonawanda and we hope more cities and states do the same.
