Thousands of people swarmed the White House this weekend and across the country to show their support for the #BlackLivesMatter movement. There were drum circles, protesters, volunteers handing out water and snacks, food trucks, dancing, so much going on that the energy was infectious. I wanted to ask people WHY they showed up and what it meant to them, and these were their answers.
