Do you live in the most sinful city in Texas?
Using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Yelp, Tinder, and a handful of other sources, Wallethub compiled a list of the most sinful cities in the entire nation based on seven key factors including vanity, anger, vices, and greed to name only a few.
Upon breaking down each factor, the outlet concluded that there were certain cities scattered across America that were more sinful than others. These cities were then given a ranking, all falling under Las Vegas (Sin City itself) of course.
Per the new list, the most sinful city in Texas is Houston (in 2nd). Other Texas cities that made the list include Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Fort Worth, Corpus Christi, and Garland to round out the top 100.
Here's what Wallethub had to say about compiling the data to discover the most sinful cities across the country:
"To determine the most sinful cities in America, WalletHub compared 182 cities — including the 150 most populated U.S. cities, plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state — across seven key dimensions: 1) Anger & Hatred, 2) Jealousy, 3) Excesses & Vices, 4) Greed, 5) Lust, 6) Vanity and 7) Laziness.
