Demi Lovato & Marshmello Reveal Release Date for 'OK Not To Be OK' Collab

After much speculation and teasing fans, Demi Lovato and Marshmello officially announced that they have a collaboration on the way called "OK Not To Be OK," and fans won't have to wait too much longer to hear the track, because the pair also announced that it's set to be released on September 10th.

Both Demi and the DJ/producer took to social media to confirm the song, it's release date and its official cover art, which features a grid of happy and sad faces and two hands joined together. Demi shared, "OK Not To Be OK OUT SEPTEMBER 10 WITH @marshmellomusic," and Marshmello replied in the comments on the singer's Instagram, "I CAN'T WAIT."

Over Labor Day Weekend, Demi shared a teaser video — which she called her "favorite teaser ever" — for the collaboration, which shows Marshmello looking at recent social media fan comments on his phone as they repeatedly ask about when he'll drop their collaboration. One fan's comment pointed out that this has been three years in the making, writing, "Marshmello teased us for THREE YEARS with the Demi collab, led us to believe something was coming a few weeks ago and is now liking tweets about the collab but still giving nothing... GIVE US A BREAK."

Other tweets to Marshmello included images of roasted marshmallows while saying things like "Lovatics are getting impatient" and "WHEN IS THE COLLAB WITH DEMI," and one went so far to even say, "This is going to be you if Demi's collab isn't released soon" (alongside a photo of a burnt marshmallow in front of a campfire).

The clip ends with Marshmello throwing his phone ... which brings us to today. IT'S FINALLY COMING, LOVATICS! Mark your calendar for Thursday, September 10th!
