Hanna Downgraded To Tropical Depression

Hanna was downgraded to a tropical depression as it moved into Mexico on Sunday, but still was producing heavy rain and dangerous flash-flooding in southeast Texas and northern Mexico. Hanna knocked out power to thousands after coming ashore on Padre Island Saturday afternoon as a Category 1 hurricane. The National Weather Service says there is still a possibility of a few rounds of additional rain on Monday across the Rio Grande Valley, causing additional problems for areas already flooded.
