Juice WRLD Allegedly Swallowed 'Tons Of Percocets' To Hide From Feds

New details continue to emerge about the sudden death of Juice WRLD.

In the latest report, a law enforcement source told TMZ that the 21-year-old rapper, born Jarad Higgins, may have "made a fatal decision as law enforcement searched his private jet, swallowing a bunch of painkillers in an attempt to hide them from the feds."

The insider claimed that the pilot "who was flying Juice's private plane alerted authorities on the ground that the rapper's entourage had guns on them," which is not allowed. Thus, when Juice and his entourage landed, FBI and FAA agents were waiting for them. At "some point between the plane landing and the feds conducting their search, Juice was seen swallowing several Percocet pills in what people believed was an attempt to hide them." The source added, the pills may have contributed to his death in a possible overdose.

During the FBI and FAA's search, three guns — that were all registered — were reportedly seized, along with 70 lbs. of weed, which was allegedly found in multiple vacuum-sealed bags inside luggage from the private jet. Two of Juice's associates, Chris Long and Henry Dean, were arrested for gun possession. Both men have since been released, TMZ reports.

While an autopsy was performed on the "Lucid Dreams" rapper on Monday (December 9), additional testing, including toxicology, cardiac pathology and neuropathology is still needed before determining an official cause of death, TMZ reports.

The outlet also reported that paramedics spent 40 minutes treating Juice, primarily trying to get his heart to beat regularly, after he began to seize, going into cardiac arrest, at the Chicago Midway airport early Sunday morning (December 8). The Chicago Tribune additionally reported that "an agent administered two doses of Narcan, an emergency treatment when opioid overdose is suspected."

Despite their efforts, at 2:55 AM they transported Juice to the hospital, and when they arrived at 3:06 AM, doctors at the hospital pronounced him dead.
