Monsta X Serve Choreography In Steve Aoki-Assisted 'Play It Cool' Video

Monsta X put their skills for choreography at the forefront of their new music video for "Play It Cool," their all-English collaboration with Steve Aoki.

On Wednesday (March 27), the acts dropped the high-energy video, which offers up plenty of flash, dancing and even a sleek mansion backdrop. In the three-minute clip, viewers see the EDM heavyweight driving around and listening to the dance track as scenes switch back and forth from his jam session to the seven-member group hanging with one another and showcasing intricate routines. The Korean version of "Play It Cool" was featured on their latest album, Take 2. We Are Here, and prefaced the English release of the cut, which dropped last week.

"Monsta X is one of those powerhouse groups that sets the bar very high," Aoki previously said in a statement. "Their voices stay with you long after the song is over, and on this track they sang so profoundly that all we had to do was focus on the story we were telling. “I really believe in today’s world that we have redefined what love and relationships look like, so I think that this song is one that many people can relate to."

Expect to hear this one and more when Monsta X take to their 19-date world tour, as well as the Daytime Stage at our 2019 iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 21. Among the other acts set to appear include Juice WRLD, Maren Morris, Billie Eilish, Old Dominion, Zara Larsson, CNCO, Brett Young and FLETCHER with more to be announced. Click here for details!
