How Chris Pratt Told Anna Faris He Proposed To Katherine Schwarzenegger

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are proving once again it's possible to remain close with your ex. After Chris announced his engagement to his girlfriend of one year, Katherine Schwarzenegger, Anna was quick to leave a congratulatory comment. "I'm so happy for you both!!! I love you guys!!" Anna wrote. The actress went into more detail about how her ex revealed he popped the question on the latest episode of Anna Faris is Unqualified

"Chris texted me this morning and he was like, ‘I propose to Katherine last night.’ And I was like, ‘Ahh, that’s amazing,’" Anna recounted on her hilarious podcast. "And I texted him back like, ‘I just wanted to remind you I’m an ordained minister.’ I’m not very good at it …," she joked.

"I knew that it was going to happen," she continued. "I love her, and I love him, and I'm just so happy that they found each other."

Anna also opened up about how frustrating it can be when people look to her for a negative reaction when something positive happens in her ex-husband's love life.  "The truth is there isn't any bitterness," she explained. "I'm just so happy we're all really happy. They're both f--king amazing people, and I'm so happy."

One of the main reasons Anna and Chris were able to maintain a friendship after their split is because of their son, Jack Pratt. "I so subscribe to the idea of, like, expanding, like, family and love with Jack,” she said.

The Overboard actress has spoken about this openly before, as well, telling Us Weekly last January: "I think it’s just the general idea of just making sure that [Jack’s] surrounded by a lot of love and happiness. We’re really good at that and we have amazing friends and incredible family and we have like just the most amazing resources to make sure that he feels safe and protected and happy. And so far, he is."

Congratulations again to the happy couple. Fingers crossed Anna does end up officiating that wedding...
