Kate was found in her home yesterday from suicide. She hung herself with a scarf. This is so very unfortunate as many young ladies say that her clothing and apparel line carried them from adolescents to adulthood. Kate and her husband Andy Spade (brother of David Spade) were apparently talking about getting a divorce and Andy was already apartment hunting. Kate's sister is saying that she was suffering from undiagnosed Bi-Polar disorder and depression because of the divorce. Kate has left behind a 13 year old daughter. This is a very sad day for all.
