In the middle of South By Southwest, one of the biggest festivals Austin houses, 3 packages have been found at homes full of explosives. One 17 year old man and one 39 year old man have died due to the explosions. One 75 year old woman is in serious condition at the hospital. March 2nd was the first time a package exploded that killed the 39 year old man. 10 days later (Yesterday 3/12) 2 more packages appeared on peoples front porch, that detonated and killed the teenager and wounded the 75 year old woman and another woman at a 3rd house sending her to the hospital. Austin Police are stating that if you ARE NOT EXPECTING a package and one shows up on your front step, CALL 9-1-1 Immediately.
Police are saying that the 2 killed are linked to prominent members of Austin's African American community. They still do not have concrete proof of why or what is happening here is the latest information we have on the story.
Police and the Governor are offering a $15,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest of the person who did it.
