CaliBurger has a new employee learning the rounds. It is a robot with spatula's attached. And it has some people questioning our future. Could this be the new wave of the future?
Flippy is his name, and he can cook up to 150 burgers an hour. This robot does not require a paycheck and benefits, but does not do the job completely on it's own yet. It takes a human to watch the display screen on the robot, to know when to add the cheese and other toppings right before it is finished. So while it is not imminent that we as humans will be losing our cooks and restaurant folks, it is something to look for in the future, that will be changing our workforce.
