Arity, a company pairing with Car Insurance, is setting out to use cell phones to help lower OR raise car insurance. The would use app technology to know that you are traveling in a car, and would track how often you use your phone while driving. The more you use it, the higher your rate would be. This is something that will be coming to Austin to use so check with your insurance and see if that is something they are going to be offering for you!
