New details have been released regarding the funeral services for Richard Overton, who was America's oldest World War II veteran and a longtime Austin resident.A public viewing will be held from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11 at Cook Walden Funeral Home located at 6100 North Lamar Blvd.Overton's funeral is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 12 and is set to begin at 11 a.m. at Shoreline Church located at 15201 Burnet Road, according to Allen Bergeron with the City of Austin. The funeral will be open to the public. He will be buried at 2:00 p.m. in Texas State Cemetery. Check it out!
