A passenger and the airline is in some hot water after letting their own animal die in an overhead bin on a flight from Houston to NYC. A passenger on the flight saw the owner put their dog in the overhead bin shortly before take-off and even heard the dog whimpering during the flight. What kind of animal are you, if you just put your dog in an space with no air flow for any period of time, and don't care. The full story is here but we believe the owner should NEVER BE ABLE TO OWN ANOTHER DOG, and United Airlines should donate $500,000 to a national dog rescue.
