Michelle Obama is coming to Austin

Former First Lady Michelle Obama, whose new memoir “Becoming” is likely to be found under many a Christmas tree this holiday season, is coming Feb. 28 to the Frank Erwin Center. This visit is part of the second leg of her book tour.

Attendees can expect discussion of Obama’s inspirational triumphs and personal setbacks, from childhood to the White House.

Before Obama was the first African-American first lady of the United States of America, she was a girl growing up on the South Side of Chicago. The tour will candidly recount moments spanning both her personal and professional lives, as a way to share lessons learned and inspire people to become the best version of themselves.
