Detectives in Los Feliz say they've arrested a photographer who used a promise of modeling work to gain the trust of two young men who were later sexually assaulted.

John Everett Perry, 34, has already been charged with the two attacks, but LAPD Detective Michelle Gomez said Monday she suspects the ruse that convinced these young men to submit has probably worked on others.

She said the two assaults happened near the I-5 freeway on September 24 about 45 minutes apart, and said she suspects other victims may feel too ashamed to report the crimes.

"We know there's gotta be other victims out there, who maybe are afraid to report it. We don't get many male victims," she said.

Perry was arrested September 25th at his home in Palm Springs and has already been released on bail.

Gomez said he regularly travels through Los Angeles and Orange Counties, and if anyone has information on the case they should contact LAPD Northeast Div. detectives at (323) 344-5742.

Police said Perry was driving a black Subaru SUV.
