The thumbprint scanner on the new iPhone may not be secure. A group of hackers in Germany known as the Chaos Computer Club claim they've broken into an iPhone just a couple of days after Apple introduced the feature in the iPhone 5S to make it more secure.
They say they used a photo of a user's fingerprint to make a mold of a fake finger.
Minnesota Democratic Senator Al Franken and privacy advocates have concerns about the feature -- they say if thieves were able to somehow access thumb print records either in the phone or in the cloud they would be able to impersonate someone for the rest of their lives.
Franken has sent a letter to Apple about it - they haven't responded yet.
